Bellagio Ceiling, "Fiori di Como" in 3D

This is the ceiling of the Bellagio shot in 3d using the cha-cha method (2d here). The ceiling is hand blown glass by Dale Chihuly who comments on this work here. For folks not used to stereographs, my second comment contains information on viewing.

At first glance, not much depth, but, lots of texture from the various bits of glass. Give it a good look; cha cha method.

Here are three techniques for viewing this photo,

One: www.vision3d.com/fftext.html

Two: www.vision3d.com/methd02.html

Three: plop your nose right in the bottom center of the picture so that each eye can only see half of the picture. *slowly* move your head backwards until the pixels resolve into an image. You may need to bobble back and forth. I've found it helps to pick a bright object visible to both eyes and try to keep the images "together" also, if you've a strong eyeglass prescription (like me) try removing your glasses.
