      I see this as a very atmospheric glimpse into human connection and emotion - and its partial obscurity by the daily commute.

      Hong Kong has some very interesting visual advertising, especially in the subway.

      I think it's because HK has a very intense pedestrian culture-- most people, even if they own cars, have to do a great deal of walking, or taking public transportation. And this includes high income people.

      So, I think advertisers are willing to spend the money for expensive, well designed ad boards in the subway.
