• I was in size denial so I made a size larger skirt than bodice. That just resulted in more fabric gathering. I'll do it the right way next time with everything the same size. :-P
  • My shoulders are uneven from scoliosis. Not the fault of the dress. :)

We love it! You're fast! The pattern arrived in our store last week, and we haven't had a chance to try and make it yet. But you have given me inspiration to try it tomorrow. Thanks for posting. Great job!

I am attempting her roundabout dress but her layout instructions alone have me stumped. She shows the pattern pieces layed out on unfolded fabric but they need to be cut on the fold. Yikes. And fold fabric right side together or wrong? Anyone?

  12. Fresh Lemons : Faith 61 months ago | reply

If the pieces say "On the fold", I would do that over any drawing. Fold the wrong sides of the fabric together.

thanks so much. It has been a rocky start to a pattern I literally stalked my local retailer for :(. Your photos and work are fabulous. Fingers crossed mine turn out half as good.
