AM I ALLOWED TO CALL ST.PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL GLITZY?

Because it is!!!

And being a rather glitzy kind of girl this Cathedral satisfied my need for glitz, glamour and sparkly bits.

This was our first stop of the day yesterday in Armagh. CANNOT miss the Cathedral, it has two very large and pointy spires and is on the highest hill.

The inside Gothic style masonry very much reminded me of York Minster but on a mini-me scale.

And that is where the resemblence ended because there isn't a single space that hasn't been decorated.

The Organist whose head is just visible, was doing a major tune up and I could just imagine him belting out "O Come All Ye Faithful".

One things for sure, if the ArchBishops sermon was a bit dry there are thousands of distractions.

Got some cracking shots of sparkly bits in the Cathedral!

TRULY if you have time, View On Black

Or view larger and even in original size.
