The fine art of self destruction
So here we go again... After the last upload I simply couldn't help myself but to go the other way and take this way over the top.
Technique wise, the base image was shot with similar parameters as 'crack head' and the same lighting setup. The PS work is essentially a lot of adjustment layers, dodging and burning, textures and brushes applied in various stages with lighting added at key stages in the build. This was about 10 hours work in processing.
