It's rare that I've got a whole day on the weekends to get stuck in with some editing and processing, which is why the recent batch of uploads has been a bit more 'straight up' photography stuff. Today though was different and I managed to get some serious time to get these sorted. Both of these mannequin shots were done a couple of months ago on the High Street in Oxford and I wanted to take both of these into 2 distinctive and different directions.
I tried to step out of my comfort zone on this one and take it down a more stylised and illustrative path. As a result most of the editing was done in Illustrator rather than Photoshop. And what with spring around the corner (although it was snowing again this afternoon in Oxford!) I wanted to make this one more colourful and vibrant. And yes, I'm still loving those squares... lol.
I know everyone says this, but this one does benefit from being viewed large due to the halftones in the image.
Thanks for all the support and kind words guys - you rock!
Thanks to all for stopping by and checking out my work!
