Oh, look at that wonderful summer light illuminate downtown as the day winds to a close. Most lamentably, this was shot with a standard 18-55mm lens and then cropped. Can't wait for the summer when I can take my telephoto and get a decent, full res shot of the skyline.

 

The skyline has progressed steadily in the last fifteen years. The newest addition is that beige-colored building just a little to the right of dead center, a thirty-floor residential skyscraper built as part of a vast redevelopment of several downtown blocks. That redevelopment is slated to finish 22 March 2012. It'll be huge for Salt Lake, mark my words.
