Magic Kingdom - A Buffet With Character
Ryan and I had a very fun (and interesting) evening of shooting in the Magic Kingdom on this night. We tried shooting from some places we hadn't before, we had a nice sky, the moon popped out, I had a *happy* run-in with a security guard (more on that in another post coming soon), and then we had a mini-fiasco in the Hub.
A lady and her man-servant (I call it that because he was following all her orders and didn't smile once) decided to take their photo in front of Partners. Totally cool, great memory of her over-excited and him not smiling. She was using a P&S camera on a tripod with a flash and self-timer to do so. I thought, no big deal, she'll be done in a minute. Wrong. Very wrong. She ended up setting up posed photos of the two of them "recreating" Partners for about 12 minutes, then proceeded to take pictures of herself minus the man-servant for another 15. Ryan and I were both standing around, waiting. And waiting. We were pretty certain this lady knew we were waiting for her, and basically didn't care. Good times in the Kingdom, indeed.
So, I eventually just turned around and captured this shot of the Crystal Palace. I really like the gradient in the sky here. In order to get that, I used 4 shots. I took a -3, -1, +1, and +2 exposure then merged them using Exposure Fusion in Photomatix. Thanks for lookin', and have a great day!!
