Buffalo National River

A view from a gravel bar along the Buffalo National River - one of the prettiest places I know. This was taken near the campground at the Steele Creek put-in, near Ponca. The Buffalo River was named the first National River in the country, and flows for about 150 miles through the Ozark Mountains of northern Arkansas.
