Collins Creek

Collins Creek is a very pretty place. The creek flows over lots of neat waterfalls and cascades before it empties into the Little Red River. It is also a photographer's dream since it is filled with a steady stream of water thanks to a helpful pipe from the nearby Greers Ferry Lake. The water was meant to flow through the creek to provide a habitat for trout, but it gives a great area to explore for pictures...

There were even a few people fishing just downstream from where this was taken. I didn't think that there would be much fish in this area, but one of them managed to catch a small fish while I was there taking pictures. He also managed to fall right into the creek after catching the fish. I laughed, but then felt bad since I was standing in the creek taking pictures and was more than likely to stumble and fall into the water as well.

Collins Creek is located in the JFK Memorial Park, next to the dam at Greers Ferry Lake, near Heber Springs, Arkansas.
