I so wanted to get out and photograph this tree just after the snow had all fallen yesterday, but the snow did not relent all day.
With clearer skys this morning I was hopeful of catching Maria's tree covered in snow, with deep snow in the foreground giving soft undulations.
Unfortunately a lot of snow had melted overnight and no snow remained on the tree and the layer on the floor had thinned out considerably from yesterday. In addition the sky was cloudless. These clouds have been generated from the cooling towers, which ruins the appeal to some extent - call me a purist but I'd much rather have the clouds generated by Mother Nature.
