Northwestern Salamander

Ambystoma gracile, Kirkland, King County Washington, 25 January 2017.

10 days ago this pond was covered in ~ 6 inches of ice that I was walking on top of. Tonight I saw 3 species of amphibians in it. I did not get pictures of the other two: red-legged frog and the more elusive long-toed salamander.
