chrome & ginger

From near the summit of Parkhouse Hill, looking at our next objective...Chrome.

At last we have climbed these hills, after staring at them wistfully everyday from Crowdecote. They are a real adventure, one of my favourite Peak Distrcit walks, I think and accomplished from our cottage doorstep, which adds a little something.

Great to return to Crowdecote and grab a pint of beautiful Thornbridge beer at the Packhorse Inn next door.

(Chrome is from Old English or Celtic and means "jagged").
