Temple of Juno

Kite Aerial Photography at Burning Man 2012

This image was taken by a camera lofted by a kite at Burning Man 2012, and shows a top-down view of the Temple of Juno. This temple was created by David Best, who returned to Burning Man again in 2012, his last creation was in 2007. His work has a tremendous amount of detail and intracacy, which is evident even in portions of the building not easily seen from the ground.

The wind was slightly heavy during this outing, with large dust clouds moving through and obscuring everything. This image was captured during a somewhat rare clear moment.
