Southern Dumpling Squid (Euprymna tasmanica)

These tiny squid look more like a cuttlefish than a squid. Growing not more than 7cm, they can attach sand to the body and shed it quickly as a decoy to escape dangerous moments. The cutest thing you will ever see.


This one is about 4cm long and constantly changing colors from green to purple depending on the background. Almost impossible to find unless it is hunting above sand.
