Palácio Nereu Ramos (National Congress of Brazil)

Built for the "Bloco by Bloco" event from LUG Brasil.

 

I forgot how microscale is difficult - each piece counts. I didn't find a way to make the ramp straight; using a slope made the stud stand out too much. I also didn't find a way to close the top of the right dome. But overall it was a fun build. And a very lucky one - for several pieces I had the exact amount I needed (I did run out of green tiles...)

 

The building is inevitably connected to Brazilian politics which is usually terrible, specially now. But it *is* an impressive building and probably the most famous design from Oscar Niemeyer.
