A Flower in Mono
I visited the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin last week and took a few images of the flowers that are in full bloom at this time of the year.
I took this image of this flower late in the afternoon, about thirty minutes before closing time. The flower was in a glasshouse and I focused manually using my 105mm macro lens. Upon returning home, I processed the image in Camera Raw and CS6 adding a split tone to finish the image off.
I must admit that I really enjoyed my visit to the National Botanic Gardens and if you have never been before, I can highly recommend a visit. It's completely free as well so there is no excuse not to go! It really is a gem of a location; a beautiful place to visit in our wonderful city.
Hope you like the image.
