Uig Bay Isle of Skye Scotland - Peace & tranquility

Uig is a village at the north end of the Isle of Skye, its main claim to fame being that is the Skye terminal for the ro-ro ferry service to North Uist and Harris in the Outer Hebrides.

Having safely (see my other Uig Bay photo) moored at the pier, the ferry basks in the spring sunshine and catches its breath as a queue of vehicles prepare to board for the return voyage.

The Bay is part of the sea loch Loch Snizort, and most of the village of Uig is arrayed along the length of the photograph.
