I was Glad that the Tigers kept faith in this guy, even after a 21 loss season.

Maroth's a tough cookie. Was going great early last year until he injured his throwing arm in late May or early June, knocking him out for the season. Looks like he's finally starting to climb back into form.

Leyland actually may be in a for a tough decision when Kenny Rogers comes off the DL, probably some time in July. Their fifth starter, Chad Durbin, had a couple rocky outings to open the season but then pitched terrific against the White Sox last week (as you know), throwing eight innings of shutout ball with nine strikeouts. If he keeps it up, it's gonna be neck & neck between Durbin and Maroth as to who hits the bullpen (or the minors) when Kenny returns. Lot of water still to pass under the bridge until that happens, though.
