SAN ANTONIO, Philippines (Oct. 7, 2010) Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class (SW) Jerrinie Palonzo-Bautista encourages Philippine Navy sailors on take-down procedures during a maritime security training exercise. Palonzo-Bautista is assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 7, based at Naval Station Guam. MSRON 7 is here conducting training exchanges with Philippine Sailors and Marines on maritime security tactics as part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Traning (CARAT) Philippines. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia designed to strengthen relationships and promote maratime security.
