Gawler National Trust Museum

Schools program in action led by 4 museum volunteers. The school group divides into 4 groups, A,B,C and D. A group is taken on a specific 30 minute tour of the museum by a designated volunteer. The groups swap at the end of each tour, so that by the end of the session they have gone on each tour. The 4 tours involve: Learning about the Migrant experience in Gawler; learning about social life in the Victoriana room; learning about shops and domestic technology; taking an audio tour using an MP3 player and learning about explorer John McKinlay.

This is volunteer Margaret Howse leading the shops and domestic technology session.
