Night Flowers-8447

so I feel compelled to share the secret of how I've been shooting fireworks for the last two years. These shots are handeld, fifteen second exposures. The setting of the camera was ISO 200 f 16 15 seconds. It's really weird how great everything looks. At once recognizeable but quite impressionistic. helps to put the fading twilight sky behind the fireworks. since the fireworks last only a few seconds I hold the camera as still as I can as one goes off then whip the camera left right up or down then hold still for another set of explosions. I'm always trying to fill the frame in interesting ways rather than have all the explosions be in one place, as they would if I used a tripod and did not move the camera during exposure.
