Farl By: Farl

When you have a small camera with limited zoom, your choices in street photography are slim. Complicate that with the saturated traffic in Indonesia- the motorbikes, manual pedicabs (becak), the horse-drawn dokar, automobiles and buses. Thanks for those narrow islands dividing the opposing lanes and I had a shelter where I can stand my ground. Or else I will miss moments that would have PASSED you by.

Farl makes everyday life beautiful and colorful regardless if he's using a dSLR or the point and shoot, it doesn't matter. All he knows is making us happy and realize what/how/who/why things happen.

Each and every photo is a living legacy we just love and all we can wish is him take more shots and to inspire us make our photostreams better.

Great shot! You captured a very interesting moment admist the traffic etc. The colors are amazing alone, let alone the expressions and movement.

A wonderful jumble of time! motorbus and horse-cart, adults letting time pass while the child seizes the moment. All this and delicious color to pull us in. Lovely!

I can just imagine the complexity of the scene. To be able to compose a shot framing the bus door on the left, and to capture the contrast of the 2 vehicles and wonderful expressions must speak to a certain sixth sense of talented visual artists.

This is such a wonderful shot... and to my eye the little boy reaching is the eye of the storm... lovely.

salamat my friends! there is a lot to learn in photography and studying the works of my dSLR is one thing I still have to do.

Sunshine- writing is a passion which sadly, I could not indulge at the moment.

Farl I am finding there is one advantage to coming late to your pictures - I get to enjoy not only the wonderful photo but also all of the notes added by your friends and your responses therein.
