A stroll by the beach during sunrise is an exercise of the senses. The creeping sun, the thunderous surf, the biting salt of the air and the darting streaks of colors are no ordinary wakeup call. Being early means getting treated to a deserted coast as well. But not really. Some people are as eager as I am. When one enterprising vendor began to hang kites, I and my camera were only too enthusiastic to oblige.
