Cotton candy machines are everywhere- they are natural magnets of children. I had several opportunities of photographing the itinerant push cart stalls several times all throughout the Philippines but I held out as I wanted to capture those wooded carts that I remember as a child. Seeing this old-fashioned foot pedal-powered machine was a delight therefore! I knew I got to frame this shot with the pink cotton balls forming half of a smile.
