One of several boat houses among the bright new reed growth around the margins of Hickling broad, Norfolk.
Hickling Broad is situated in the upper stretches of the River Thurne, and is the largest expanse of open water in the Broads. It is a National Nature Reserve, and its wide skies and open landscape offer the perfect place for a walk at any time of year. It is a haven for rare Broads plants and animals, particularly bittern and the swallowtail butterfly.
