Clouds (AKA: It's A Girl!)
Week Two: Clouds
I've had this shot in mind since I saw the project themes. I knew that I wanted to do a shot that would have balloons against a cloudy sky... and the color of the balloons would reflect the gender of my baby who is being born in December.
Sadly, it has been raining every day this week and I've been busy. Today we have blue skies but they are TOO BLUE... as in, not many clouds. So I stood outside in the 100 degree heat, with the wind blowing my balloons all over the place waiting for some clouds to come by and for the balloons to behave. I had to crop out some of the fence, some trees and my son's playhouse. I know there aren't many clouds in this but if you look at the bottom you can see one!!
I'd reshoot if I could... but I let the balloons go at the end of the shoot and took some pictures of them drifting away. But now I feel like that's a bad omen!!! Crazy pregnancy brain.
