Edit; Tried both. The Brandied Cherries on the left are pretty tame. They have less than 2% alcohol in the juice. Cherry like, nice, but nothing special.
The Griottines though? Man, what a wallop - it's like they've been soaking up the kirsch for years - they are extremely alcoholic, yet retain the cherry flavour. Definite winner. they are 'sour' cherries too (morello), but you'd never guess.
