Three hundred and sixty-odd days of 2008, day 264
The old Moor Platt care home in Caton, near Lancaster. It's been derelict for years, so I decided to take the camera and photograph it before anything was done with it.
A burned scrap of the bible, showing parts of psalms 32 and 33, lying on the floor of the Moor Platt outbuilding.
This summed up most of this shoot for me; so desperately sad and lonely, lying in the middle of an empty room in an empty building on a forgotten site.
What happened to the owner of this bible, I wonder? Where did they go when all this was torn down?
