      Rust en Vreugd during the early to the middle of the Twentieth Century together with now demolished buildings was home to the Cape Town High School which has relocated to the old SACS Junior school premises on Government Avenue.My enduring memory of the school on the Buitenkant was an indoor swimming pool where I enjoyed the joy of swimming in a 20X10 meter pool.
      The principal's office was to the left of the front entrance
