Ochre Viewpoint

This image is a reflection of the corridor wall and window out on the 6th floor of the hospital, seen in ochre. The color comes from the back of a large glass wall made of dichroic glass. See the lobby side of this fascinating architectural detail here:

Dichroic glass reflects color in different ways according to the quality of light directed to it. The previous photo in my stream shows a similar glass wall on the 4th floor, from the lobby and corridor side. You see blue or yellow glows depending on the time of day.

 

This color I call ochre, is a very "fashionable" color, with a decorator's comments, here:

Through the reflected window one can see a bit of the Phoenix residential area near central downtown, with tall palm trees to mark the landscape from on high. I think that large "building" out on the flat roof just beyond this area is some kind of large air conditioning unit.
