Hands, Deaf-Blind Keyboarding

A woman waits to keyboard on her refreshable braille display. This is a modular unit that hooks up to a standard keyboard and allows her to keyboard in braille. A software program then translates from braille to text. This student is in our class for Deaf-blind and has two interpreters to translate the instructions. One interpreter is likely moving the mouse into position for her in this photo. She is learning to use a computer, having never had any computer experience prior to this class. Another view of this student is in a previous photo on my stream, here.
