The Park Hotel is another classic Art Deco structure in Shanghai, like several others designed by the Hungarian architect László Hudec. The building is 83.8 m tall and contains 22 stories aboveground and another 2 stories underground. Construction on this corner of Bubbling Well Road (now Nanjing West Road) and Park Road (now Huanghe Road) was finished in 1934 and it was the tallest building in Asia from 1934 to 1958.
