The MAC (Contemporanean Art Museum) is an architectonic piece of the world famous brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer - born in 1907, he graduated from the Escola Nacional de Belas Artes (Rio) in 1934. He was awarded the Gold Medal of the American Institute of Architecture in 1970. Designer of several buildings spreaded all over the world. Among them, the UN building in NYC.
The MAC is situated in Niterói, on a hill with a fantastic view of the sea and Rio de Janeiro at the other side of the bay.
