taco time

(147/366) tacos (burritos, enchiladas... and all other various forms of deliciousness) have become the meal to have around our house. so easy. and fresh. oh, and so awesome.

we like love refried beans and black beans. nathan makes a pretty amazing guacamole. salsa and fixings.

always fresh lime.

and even better- i get to have it all over again for lunch tomorrow.

    well we had tacos tonight. and they were yum. (my bowls are not nearly as lovely, though.) but the little people were crumbling. so we had to eat fast. thus no photo. you'll have to take my word for it!

    oh, we eat mexican food a lot, too. i love it! my favorite is quesadillas made with pepper jack cheese and corn tortillas topped with garlicy spicy black bean puree, guacamole, salsa, cilantro, lettuce, lime, and or marie sharps hot sauce.

    hannah- any time! wait until you try nathan's fantastic guacamole. you might just want to stay here in vancouver :)

    eva- what is this garlicy spicy black been puree deliciousness you speak of? is it something you make yourself?
    actually i'm so excited to try this that i'm going to email you tonight, because i know it will be a while before you're back here.

    so just yesterday i stole the blue dishes from the kitchen to put my brooches in, and i cursed myself -CURSED- that i didn't buy more. you see, in a bid to take some of the pressure off the already overstuffed shelves, i bought only 2 of each, despite the fact they were 50c each, and there was about 20.

    i am such an idiot.
