36-Uganda-German Red Cross Integrated Climate Change Adaptation programme in Teso and Karamoja sub-regions

The German Red Cross-supported Integrated Climate Change Adaptation (ICCA) programme in Uganda’s Teso and Karamoja sub-regions was designed to help the Uganda Red Cross Society strengthen community resilience and promote risk reduction and adaptation. Starting in 2013 it included a wide variety of activities, including those in this album such as a drama group in Amuria sub-county, U-Report community participation by SMS and a mini-dam in Ngariam sub-county, goat-rearing, and a village saving and loans group which invested in a flour mill in Kotido sub-county.
