A different Great End Summit View, Lake District

So as you can see from the story of pictures we are at the summit of Great End...

How to better the last summit views shot from Great End...... Post another slightly different version, taking the Tarn, Derwent Water and Skiddaw.

This magnificent view..... If you remember I posted a shot recently from the summit of Yewbarrow recently and asked if that was the greatest view of all.... A fellow wanderer (Mr Wainwright) pointed out Great End has also a marvellous view.......Me never having been on Great End, I had done all the summits in that area but not Great End and knowing all summit views, even ones next to each other are all different.....I had to investigate for myself....

So here stood on the silent summit of Great End, Scafell to the left receiving all the attention, the Lakes surrounding and Great End, this mighty view in the heart of the fells, all around, fell wanderers delights summits, The Gables, Pillar, Skiddaw and here me, alone, taking in this vision, a perfect cloud falls to the summit of Gable, solid blue sky broken by sleeping giants..... Is this the greatest Lakeland view

The answer is impossible, I realised that when I asked the last time, they are all individual, all different and all special, any view in the Lake District is the best view, it just depends who's eyes are looking.........

There is a finale to the story, one last chapter, all stories have a build up, a middle, a finale and an end.... and I do have an end which I will post tomorrow :)
