This is Tumalo Falls which is located about 15 miles or so out of Bend, Oregon.

I arrived up here in the early morning under the cover of darkness and let me tell you it was cold. Its amazing that it can be 95 degrees in the afternoon and then so cold in the early morning.

I had this place all to myself and didn't see one single person. Every shoot in the morning I did on this Central Oregon trip was done in complete solitude. Something about that experience moves me.

I came away with a number of different comps and will post more in the future.

The thing that surprised me was how close I was able to get to the falls without taking a shower in over-spray.

I was up here in mid-June and she was raging. I couldn't get anywhere near where I was on this shoot.
