Darwin's Shot

    Newer Older

A bit un-nerving putting my head down on a road where the cars can't see you well because of the hills.

I converted to black and white and cutout the lines so the yellow could show through from the original on the layer below.

Mr. TRONA, Mr. Greenjeans, fabbio, and 13 other people added this photo to their favorites.

Thanks mewot! Gar, I thought you meant the roadrunner... What lines do they draw in front of rosters? You've got me curious now :-)

Why Darwin's shot? It's great how you made the yellow stripe continue on and on into the distance.

Cuz I had my head on the ground on a road where the cars go 50 mph, next to place where the road goes over a rise (behind me in the photo). I was listening for cars, but it still felt dangerous. I could just see myself being a winner of the annual Darwin Awards.

I've wanted to do this many times (particularly considering a 30 second pinhole exposure), but decided not to risk it. I'll look at yours instead.
