Stansbury Park and Pond Cleanup with Clean Bread and Cheese Creek on 5/18/13
Today (5/18) , despite the threat of rain, over 33 volunteers arrived to volunteer with Clean Bread and Cheese Creek at Stansbury Park / Pond and cleaned the shoreline trails, picnic area, sports field areas, playground area and more! Volunteers Together we removed over 2 tons of trash (217 trash bags!), including a 23 golf balls, 19 fishing bobbins, 17 lures, miles of fishing line, a submerged couch, a box spring, a fully decorated artificial Christmas tree, a bicycle, sign post, carpet, and more! Despite the threat of or rain we made a huge impact on the health and beauty of this beautiful little park.
