City of Rocks Star Trails
This is twenty minutes of stacked 30s. exposures near Flaming Rock in the gorgeous rock climbing mecca of City of Rocks National Reserve near Almo, Idaho. The left-trending trail is (I believe) the International Space Station (ISS). It blasted through the scene in four frames and faded into shadow about 120° from the horizon seen here. It was impressively bright. Camera is pointed roughly west at about 45° N latitude, so astro- and space program buffs please advise if this really was the ISS.
