Genuine mistake. Already requested correction. Nice to see you entering into the spirit of the forum.

Not sure what you mean by 'spirit of the forum' here but as I've just received an email from one of your Flickr contacts asking me to remove the above comment ('cause that's in the spirit of an open public forum I suppose?), I'm assuming it's because you think the comment was directed at you.

Apologies if you thought that and for causing any confusion.

Seeing as the council have made the decision not to mention or credit any of the original photographers on here it's them I have the beef with, not any not the photographers who've had their images posted on here anonymously. I feel that the time and effort everyone on here has went to take and submit their photographs could at least be repaid with the courtesy of having each of their contributions acknowledged.

I've been through my shots on here and linked back to the original images on my own photostream, allowing anyone who wants to use the image the ability to download the high resolution versions and use them under the terms of the 'Creative Commons' license I have applied to them, and not having to ask the council for permission as they've applied an All Rights Reserved License to all 182 photographs in 'their' photostream.

Appreciate your clarification, however maybe you should consider taking it up with the council directly instead of through other peoples photographs,to avoid confusion in the future.

I have thanks, and their response is here.

This is Clackmannanshire Council's Photostream, the license on the right says this picture is licensed to them, not you, and if you hadn't posted here and shown that the original version of the photo was yours, none of us would be any the wiser. That's the point I'm trying to make, all of the photos on here are now Clackmannanshire Council's to do with what they like and none of us have any say in the matter. Some of them have already appeared in the local press without any mention of the original creators.

Again, apologies for any annoyance this has caused you.
