1,079 million Kilometres Per Hour

The speed of light is extremely fast. It takes 8.3 minutes for light to travel from the sun to earth and it takes a mere 134 milliseconds for the sun's light to travel the length of the earth's equator. Amazing.

Okay, I don't know why I decided to throw out some statistics at you. Maybe because I am listening to a hockey post-game show and just have stats on the mind.

Speaking of sports, the Vancouver Canucks are now up 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals against the Boston Bruins. They now play two games in Boston and will race to 4 wins in order to clench the Stanley Cup! It is exciting times here in Vancouver and the city is partying!!! The crisp sunshine and rays that penetrated into all corners of southwestern BC today only fosters the good mood around here!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.
