Out of Chicago Photo Walk #2

Reminder and Update

Our second photo walk is this Saturday. The current forecast looks perfect. Partly cloudy with a high of 57 degrees.

It looks as though the walk will be much bigger than I anticipated. This is going to change the format of our walk. We will all start together outside Rockefeller Chapel and walk together through part of the campus to the quad. Matt and I will point out some of the best locations to shoot. Most of the interior locations get too crowded with more than 3 or 4 people together, so from there, we will split up.

We will designate a time to meet back at the quad before heading to grab some drinks and food and share our photos. I am looking forward to a great night. I'll see you at 4PM outside Rockefeller Chapel. See the map at the bottom of this post for directions to the Chapel. There is free parking on 59th street in front of the chapel.

It is time for our second Out of Chicago photo walk. On March 10th, we will meet at the University of Chicago for a walk of the campus, both indoors and out. We will be meeting in front of Rockefeller Chapel at 4PM. You can park on 59th street in front of the Chapel. See the map below for directions.

Matt Frankel will be our host at the University. Matt works in the microbiology lab at the University and is an excellent photographer. Check out his photography on Flickr.

If you plan on attending the walk, I need you to RSVP. Because some of the locations we will be shooting are cramped, we may need to split into smaller groups. Please let me know, in the comments, if you plan to attend. If something comes up and you can't make it, just let me know.
