Stac Pollaidh Panorama

Just bringing my most popular shot to the front of my photostream to just say that I've joined 500px

And I like it, so will probably use Flickr even less now, if thats possible Let me know you 500px profiles as theres too many great photographers I have as contacts on here that I don't really want to lose.

Last Friday I went up Stac Pollaidh in the evening to try and get there for some good light before sunset. Stac Pollaidh is a very small 'mountain' at only 612m so it is very easy to get up on the main ridge in about 45 mins. The light played ball I saw some very nice warm golden light on Suilven, Cul Mor and Cub Beag, but a combination of finding a decent spot to get a panorama, my camera playing up and the blustery wind meant that I managed to miss the best of it despite being up there. By the time I managed this, not even the most ideal place, but the wind wasn't going to let me safely get any higher, the light had all but faded with just a little bit striking Cul Beag.

Walk description.
