Tasting Quercus Vitis Humulus:

Otter Creek Brewing's 12% abv barleywine.


at Rustico Restaurant in Alexandria, Virginia.

☞ Brewery description of the beer:

Warm-fermented with Bohemian lager yeast, then blended with Sauvignon Blanc grape juice and fermented a second time with a pure culture of Champagne yeast. Then aged on lightly toasted French Oak for 6 weeks.

Quercus Vitis Humulus is Latin for: "oak, grape, hop."
