Arrowine After-Hours Beer & Cheese Tasting

An 'after-hours' beer-and-cheese tasting, at

Arrowine Wine & Cheese Shop

Arlington, Virginia.

Rather than tasting pre-determined pairings, participants tasted six beers with three different sheep's milk cheeses... and came to their own conclusions.


The six beers:

Ayinger Brau-Weisse

Lindemans Cuvée René Gueuze-Lambic

La Socarrada Rosemary Ale

Orval Trappist Ale

Samuel Smith's Yorkshire Stingo (barleywine)

Westmalle Tripel Trappist Ale


The three cheeses:

Manchego Organic Parra Family D.O.

La Marotte

Pecorino Grand Old Man

And one surprise.
