Chilled Potato and Leek Soup

A quick review of what we tried and liked at Harvest, the Hotel Hershey's new restaurant (lunch menu):

Chilled Potato and Leek Soup

-perfect temperature, needed salt but otherwise perfect

Pretzel Crusted Chicken Tenders

-crispy, not greasy, nice honey-mustard dipping sauce. great app for parents and kids to share

Crab Cake Sandwich (with Fire-Roasted Tomatoes and Avocado on Pretzel Roll)

-hardly any filler in the crabcake, available fried or broiled (we got it broiled), roasted tomatoes and avocado were flavorful and a great addition

Chesapeake Crab Cobb Salad

-amazingly fresh crab, nice mix of greens, really impressed everyone at our table

Fish and Chips (Yuengling-battered haddock)

-Perfectly fried, not at all greasy, excellent flavor. This was my 8yo daughter's entree and she's a picky eater; she cleaned her plate!

Peach Pie

-Good, but perhaps the least impressive item on our lunch table

Dessert Shooters

-Three of us ordered dessert shooters. These are perfectly sized -- small -- since Harvest's appetizer and entree portions are large. The Vanilla Sour Cream Cheese Mousse with Fresh Strawberries was sweet and the strawberries had lost a lot of texture. Two of the dessert shooters we had were not on the original menu: a S'mores Shooter, which was sweet but very good; and a Key Lime Pie Shooter, which was perfectly tart and a wonderful way to cap of an excellent meal!

We're looking forward to returning to Harvest to sample more of the menu!
