CITES Secretary-General, John E. Scanlon, visited Airport Command of the Hong Kong Customs on 15 May 2014. The Hong Kong Customs has played an exemplary role in the implementation and enforcement of the CITES and they have received the CITES Secretary-General's Certificate of Commendation twice.
