With a Touch of Snow

We got a little bit of snow today. It's enough for me since I drive for a living.

The bleak gray tones are surreal in this shot. I like how you chose to take the house from an angle rather than straight-on. I think you could have experimented with a wider angle-of-view to see what you could have done. Kudos on a great shot!

I like this shot a lot. It really conveys the feeling of cold and bleak. There's so much detail in the large size; I especially like the windows and their various states of disrepair.

One small issue I have is the red rag that's in the lower right near the fence line. I don't know if that symbolizes something to you and maybe I'm not getting it, but I think it's a small distraction, and could be easily cloned out.

Lovely muted color range and sharpness. Bleak and timeless.

Wow: Its really a wonderful shot. The details are great. Especially in large size, the roof lines are amaizingly clear. Apart from this, the photo also conveys a "sad" mood - loneliness in the winters.

Uh, Reiner1, this is a pretty poor MiRea's Realm comment. If it's a great capture and you can feel it, why the 4 score? If it can be improved that much, you're supposed to make suggestions or state what you don't like. Would you please elaborate? This is MiRea's Realm, so please tell me what you don't like or what needs improvement please.

Interesting looking building. Do you farm?

    16. cindy47452 91 months ago | reply

No I don't, I live in town. (Only a very small town of 2,000) I only have to drive a mile in any direction to be in the country. I take so many farm pics because that's what most of southern Indiana is.

This is an old orchard wellhouse.
